Membership is open to everyone interested in supporting and promoting the Wautoma Public Library. The Friends coordinate popular book sales with donations of materials from our community (see guidelines below). Friends members also assist at library functions and lend financial support to programs and library projects. The Friends sponsor library services and activities such as the Summer Library Program, 1000 Books Before Kindergarten, Grow a Reader, early literacy incentives, craft events, and more. The Friends help to supplement the library’s collection by purchasing books, games, materials for kits, and pre-loaded learning tablets.

The Friends of the Library have a Book Shop that is open whenever the library is open. The shop has affordably priced and gently used items such as books, DVDs, CDs, and puzzles.
