Wautoma Public Library developed a five-year strategic plan focused on how the library may best serve the community. The role of libraries has evolved with changes in technology, demographic shifts, and the needs of their communities. The strategic planning process serves as a valuable means of aligning library services with community needs. It is a means of establishing priorities in a time when municipal, county, and state budgets are tight.
