Friends Spring Meeting Thurs. May 21st 1pm * The Great Gardening and Seed Saving Class Tuesday May 26th 5pm * Bookmark Making Class on Fri. May 22 at 4pm

Flower HeaderIt's been a long cold winter, but Spring is finally here, let's celebrate with a meeting!  :)  Please mark your calendar for the Spring Meeting of the Friends of the Library to be held Thursday May 21 at 1 pm.  New members are always a welcome sight so please bring a friend.  Topics on the Directors report will be circulation, programs and workshops, summer reading, wish list, Taste of Wautoma.

Another important date to save on the calendar is the Great Gardening Workshop led by the Master Gardeners on Tues. May 26st at 5pm.  The class will be about planting basics, how to plant if you want to be able to save your seeds, and then open to questions and answers.  So if you have some gardening questions, consider coming.

And yet another activity is our Bookmark Making Class on Fri. May 22 at 4pm.  Beautify your books with lovely handmade bookmarks.  Great to give away as gifts.  All supplies and instructions will be provided.  You provide the creativity. 

Living Fully & Maintaining Hope with WI. Author Gary Beyer: Friday May 1st, 1:30 pm

On Friday May 1st at 1:30 pm Wisconsin author Gary Beyer will be speaking about living fully and maintaining hope through difficult times.   A Neenah native, Gary has been dealing with a rare and disabling inflammatory muscle disease called Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM) for years, having been diagnosed in January of 2008.  His book, “You Must Answer This,” addresses how he’s been able to stay positive and live fully and how his good and bad life experiences have helped shape his positive outlook.  In his book he states it like this, “Spirituality makes up the foundation for our day to day e
